Product Introduction
Working Principle:
A gear oil pump contains a pair of meshing gears—one driving and one driven. As the gears rotate, a partial vacuum forms between the meshing and disengaging sides. Liquid is drawn in, filling the gear tooth valleys and then carried to the discharge side. When the gears mesh, the liquid is squeezed out, creating a high-pressure liquid that is discharged through the pump's discharge port.
Structural Components:
It primarily consists of gears, a shaft, a pump body, a pump cover, a bearing sleeve, and a shaft end seal. The gears are nitrided for high hardness and wear resistance and are mounted together with the shaft in a replaceable sleeve.
Performance Characteristics:
1.Pressure and Flow Rate:Operating pressure is generally below 6 MPa, with a relatively high flow rate.
2.Good Self-Priming: With excellent self-priming properties, the pump generally does not require priming before each start-up.
3.High Efficiency: Efficiency typically reaches between 93% and 98%, and is minimally affected by changes in fluid viscosity or density.
4.Energy Savings and Low Noise: Some internal gear oil pumps are also energy-efficient and low-noise.
Applicable Media:
Suitable for conveying various lubricating liquids, generally operating at temperatures not exceeding 70°C. Using high-temperature-resistant materials, it can convey liquids up to 200°C. It is not suitable for conveying corrosive liquids, liquids containing hard particles or fibers, or liquids with high volatility or low flash points.
Applications:
Widely used in the petroleum, chemical, marine, electric power, grain and oil, food, medical, building materials, metallurgy, and defense research industries.
Precautions:
During installation, the pump should be installed so that the weight of the piping does not rest on the pump. The pump should be placed as close to the oil reservoir as possible. Pipeline connections must be leak-free. During operation, pay attention to the pressure and vacuum gauges on the pump. If any abnormal noise or excessive temperature rise is detected, stop the pump immediately and inspect it. Gear oil pumps that have been unused for an extended period of time or are used in humid environments should have their winding insulation resistance measured before use.
